University Mechanical, a leading San Diego and Phoenix based contractor, is currently seeking detailers for the following position in our San Diego office.
Plumbing Detailers/Designers with a minimum of 3 years experience in routing, coordination & detailing of plumbing systems for hospitals, labs, commercial office buildings, etc, a thorough knowledge of plumbing codes, an ability to size water, gas & waste systems, and a minimum of 1 year experience with 3D-CAD software (Quickpen 3D PipeDesigner strongly preferred)

Requirements
Candidates should have:
Exposure to Navis Works viewing & collision check software
A commitment to meeting short-duration schedules

Proficiency in Auto CAD 2000 or higher
The ability to create 3D coordinated shop drawings in a multi-discipline environment
Familiarity with isometric and fabrication drawings
