Dampers

Has anyone found a good way to show volume dampers on the drawings? We would like to show in 3D volume dampers within the duct.

We made a dynamic block that we place on the drawing. On the drawing it only shows a line with a handle on it, but you can pick it and go to properties and set the duct size. When you are through with the drawing it makes a table on the drawing showing the MVD's. It is not perfect, it is hard to make it plot dark, and the schedule does not report if it is galvanized or stainless. Also the round dampers are listed by radius only.

I don't know of a actual 3D damper, I guess you have to be pretty good at AutoCAD to figure out how to make AutoCAD do it for you.
