Main Enterprises, Inc. Stratford, CT has (3) immediate openings for the following positions. (1) HVAC Sales/Estimator, (2) Project Manager, (3) Service Manager for our growing Commercial Mechanical Contracting business.

(1) Sales/Estimator - Estimator HVAC/Mechanical
Main Enterprises, Inc. We seek a self motivated professional who can lead our Estimating charge: The qualified candidate will be responsible for the following: Estimate, oversee and coordinate mechanical system and/or piping installation projects. Support the sales process by developing accurate, timely estimates of cost and profitability for prospective work. Provide effective communication processes throughout the estimate, including prompt delegation of plans,specifications, shop drawings, and job scope to support staff. Provide design and technical leadership in such areas as sheet metal work, plumbing/piping systems, or other specialty areas within the HVAC and mechanical trades.

REQUIREMENTS: Working knowledge of HVAC, mechanical systems, and/or plumbing/piping through on-the-job training and three or more years of related experience. Demonstrated management and leadership skills. Familiar with MS Office, QuickPen Estimating Software a plus, with well-established skills in using Excel. Expansion of business revenues by satisfying customers.

(2) Project Manager
Main Enterprises, Inc. We seek a self motivated professional who can help lead our Project Management charge: The qualified candidate will be responsible for the following: Manage, oversee and coordinate mechanical system and/or piping installation projects, assuring that appropriate manpower and resources are available and utilized with the highest degree of efficiency. Complete projects on schedule and within budgets. Assure that customer requirements are satisfied. Supervise installation staff in the Sheet Metal, HVAC, Plumbing and Wet Heat disciplines. Meet project management HVAC and mechanical construction financial standards by achieving budget goals, monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions. Maintain paperwork and records required by the position. This includes but is not limited to processing change orders, purchase orders, contracts, RFI's and letters.

REQUIREMENTS:

Project Management, Tracking Budget Expenses, Developing Standards, PersonnelManagement, Legal Compliance, Documentation Skills, Mechanical Project Management, Problem Solving, Estimating, Customer Service, Safety Management. Prior work experience utilizing QuickPen software a plus.

EDUCATION: Professional or equivalent experience.

(3) Service Manager:
Main Enterprises, Inc. Promote the Service Department sales process and goals by developing cost estimates for new and enhancing existing clientele. Grow maintenance, time & material billing. Develop & implement systems to achieve operational and sales goals. Maintain regular communication with customers in order to assure that their needs are met; expand the service contract business. Market the company to the community and sell mechanical and HVAC services that will provide continued growth and profitability. Manage departmental personnel, warrantee, time & material billing, contract and construction disciplines as they relate to the Service Department. Acquire, maintain and motivate a highly productive, loyal team of service technicians.

REQUIREMENTS:

A thorough knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems and components. Sales development, Demonstrated customer/employee relations, problem solving, estimating and leadership, staff supervision, use of service-management software and Microsoft Office skills.
