A brief set-up here:

Anyone from an AutoCAD background knows that you can edit blocks and better yet edit blocks in place. When you created the block, you might have added some descriptive text and when you insert it you might find that the text rotation has to be modified depending on the orientation that it was inserted. No problem, just edit the block in place.

Well, we found that you can't edit a symbol created by DD3D.
Basically we were hoping that you would be able to edit the "symbol" (which,I consider to be a QPEN block) just as you would edit a block.

Please, tell me if I'm wrong and if anybody out there has a work around?

If I had any hair, I'd surely be pulling it out about right now!

after talking with tech support, there is zero editing abilities to a symbol.
all "block editing" functions have been removed in order to maintain symbol connectors and insertion points, apparently it would blow them away.

just FYI in case I'm not the only one who didn't know this.

Try exploding the text block it'll act alittle crazy but you can then edit your text

sure that works, I was just hoping to retain "block" qualities. Upon detonation, you've obviously lost all "block" qualities.
