I have taken off a project, have run updates and calculation and am receiving an error message (#1004) that 'the item "Flg Flex Conn (Flex)" was not found.' (The system referenced is CS flg to flg.)

Looking at the material specs, the bronze flex is checked. This contains threaded, soldered, and weld end - none of which are checked and I can not remove the flag from bronze. In Flex, under another material type I have the flanged flexes. I have checked this to flag it, ran an update, ran calculations and and am still getting the message that the flanged flex is not found. Is it because of the bronze flexes being flagged that Autobid does not go further down the tree if flanged is not contained in the bronze (first material item listed)? Any suggestions?

Go into your material spec for the system you are working on. Remove all the check marks for all the flanged flex connectors.
Next, click "Tools" on the menu bar and select "Clean up material specs" on the drop down menu.
After the cleanup is complete, place a check mark next to the flex connector you need for that system.
Next, when preparing to run a report, before you run the "setup", click on File, then select "Delete Current Profile" from the drop down menu.
This should correct your flex connector problem. If it does not, post here again and we will look deeper into your situation.
