Do you Beta?
QuickPen International has decided to reinstate our Beta Testing program. We are currently looking for users who would be interested in participating in this product development phase. To be eligible, you must be currently be utilizing that product and current on Customer Care Updates.
By volunteering for this important step in our development process, you have the benefit of seeing the release before a general release is made available. Feedback provided to us by our Beta testers is invaluable, as it provides information to us during the final stages of preparing any software release. Comments should include features and functionality, software issues and suggestions. Your general thoughts regarding this software application will also be appreciated.
It is important to note that Beta software is not intended for day-to-day use. The Beta testing phase is a verification and adjustment stage for our development team and an important step in our Software Quality Assurance procedures. Beta testers not only exercise the program features, but also provide us with valuable information about the software and reactions to the user interface.
We recommend testing in environment that is separate from your active system. While we do not provide the hardware for this testing, we can provide a separate 30-day Beta license for you to utilize.
Obviously, you and your management team should carefully consider the decision to be a beta tester. While we can’t guarantee a trouble-free beta release, major problems are extremely rare. Being a beta tester means that you’re part of an elite corps of QuickPen users who are on the inside track helping to shape the way the industry utilizes technology.
The software we provide you for beta testing is a confidential and proprietary asset of QuickPen International. By entering into this Beta Test Agreement you agree to treat the software as confidential information. You agree not to copy or otherwise reproduce the software, programs or source code. You will also limit the use and circulation of the software within your organization to the extent necessary to complete the beta testing. You agree to return all software and equipment QuickPen International may provide to you for testing purposes. You agree not to disclose any findings, test results, conclusions, or other results of the beta testing, to any third party, without the prior written consent of QuickPen International.
If you are interested in becoming a Beta tester, please e-mail Stacy Zerr at szerr AT quickpen DOT com.
